Vol. 252 No. 11

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Clare Harbours.

36.

asked the Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries if he will give details of the report on the survey of County Clare harbours.

The survey to which the Deputy refers was carried out by a special survey team set up to advise me as to the need for improvement of fishery harbours and landing places on the coast of County Clare. The team's report was not prepared for publication and I do not propose to disclose details of its contents.

When can we hope to have information on the question I asked? How soon can we expect information?

As I said in my reply, the survey was not prepared for publication. Arising out of the survey, action has already been taken on fish landing places on the coast of County Clare, as the Deputy is aware.
