Vol. 252 No. 12

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers (Resumed). - Land Act, 1965.

30.

asked the Minister for Finance why copies of the Land Act, 1965 have not been available for sale in the Government Publications Sale Office for some time past; and if, having regard to the importance of that Act to many people, he will have that state of affairs remedied immediately.

Copies of the Act in question were not available in the Government Publications Sales Office in recent weeks as it was being reprinted. The Act is now available from the sales office.

Is the Minister aware that, in fact, some members of the public have inquired for copies of that Act on numerous occasions over the last 18 months during which they were informed that the Act was not available in the Government Publications Sales Office?

My information is that the stock in the Government Publications Sales Office was used up by mid-February.

Then they were under the counter for selected purchasers since then.
