Vol. 253 No. 13

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Kildare Houses.

28.

andMr. Bruton asked the Minister for Lands how many vacant houses there are in County Kildare in the hands of the Land Commission; how long they have been vacant; and when they will be allocated.

I am assuming that the question refers to existing dwellinghouses in the possession of the Land Commission following acquisition proceedings.

The Land Commission have only one such vacant house, considered fit for human habitation, in County Kildare, which passed to the Land Commission in 1967. It is not possible to indicate when it will be disposed of but there will be no avoidable delay.
