Vol. 254 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Dublin Folk Museum.

38.

asked the Minister for Education when it is intended that the folk museum at Kilmainham, Dublin, will be opened to visitors.

The work of restoration of the Royal Hospital, Kilmainham, for purposes of displaying the Irish folk life collection and other appropriate National Museum collections has not yet reached a stage which would enable me to say when the restored premises may be opened to the public.

Can the Minister say how much was spent on this to date?

I am afraid I have not got that information.
