Vol. 254 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Kerry Hospital.

8.

asked the Minister for Health the up-to-date position regarding improvements, including additional wards for old people at the district hospital, Dingle, County Kerry.

Following consideration in my Department of proposals made for extensions to the hospital it has been concluded that the most important need is to provide satisfactory day room accommodation for the patients. The possibilities of providing this amenity have been examined on the spot and recommendations are being made to the Southern Health Board arising out of this examination.
