NOTES
E.S.B.
(i) Amendments to the E.S.B. Manual Workers' Superannuation Scheme, 1943 were sanctioned by the Minister on 24th January, 1968 with effect from 12th December, 1967 pending the making of the necessary order.
(ii) Amendments to the E.S.B. General Employees' Superannuation Scheme, 1943 were sanctioned by the Minister on 10th June, 1969, with effect from tha date, pending the making of the necessary order.
BORD NA MÓNA
Amendments to the Bord na Móna Regular Works Employees' Superannuation Scheme, 1963 were sanctioned by the Minister on 2nd June, 1970 with effect from 4th June, 1970 pending the making of the necessary order.
OSTLANNA IOMPAIR ÉIREANN TEO.
The General Employees' and Regular Wages Superannuation Schemes are only a relatively short time in operation and details of outgoings are not yet available. The rates of contribution are 6% in the case of general employees and in the case of regular wages employees, 5¼% of the amoun t by which the weekly pay of the member exceeds twice the rate of contributory Old Age Pension payable during the same week to a single man.
HARBOUR BOARDS.
The Harbour Board schemes are either completely non-contributory or non-contributory in respect of service before specified dates. Employee contributions have therefore no actuarial relationship to outgoings.
