Vol. 255 No. 7

Ceisteanna — Questions. Oral Answers. - Industrial School Detention.

43.

asked the Minister for Education if, when a boy is sentenced to a term in an industrial school and within 14 days in custody appeals against the sentence, he will state who is responsible for his attendance at his appeal before the circuit court and for any travelling expenses that he may consequently incur.

Arrangements are made by the industrial school to which the boy has been sentenced for his attendance at the appeal court. Travelling expenses incurred are recouped by my Department.
