Ceisteanna — Questions. Oral Answers. - Land Court Hearing.

42.

asked the Minister for Lands why a person in County Monaghan (name supplied) was recently called before a land court; and the result of the hearing.

Proceedings were instituted by the Land Commission for compulsory acquisition of 13 acres the property of the person referred to in the question. An objection lodged on behalf of the said owner came for hearing before the lay commissioners last May. The owner attended personally and gave evidence. An adjournment for two years was granted.
