asked the Minister for Justice the number of cases awaiting hearing in the Dublin Circuit Court, indicating (a) the number of civil cases and (b) the number of criminal cases; and the average time it takes from the time of completion of pleadings to the date of hearing in the Dublin Circuit Court.

As there is a significant difference between the position obtaining in relation to different types of civil case, the available information is set out in a tabular statement which, with your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, will be circulated with the Official Report.
