My Department have approved of the erection of two new separate schools for boys and girls at Leixlip, County Kildare, each having 16 classrooms. It is proposed to build a block of eight classrooms as the first stage.
The reverend manager has offered a suitable site and his architect has submitted sketch plans to the Office of Public Works.
A grant towards the cost of the entire project will be sanctioned when satisfactory evidence of title and cost estimates are available.
