asked the Minister for Local Government the amount of money allocated to County Kerry for local authority housing for each of the years 1966-67 to 1971-72 inclusive.

asked the Minister for Local Government if Kerry County Council will get an additional allocation of money for local authority housing this year, in view of the fact that the amount already allocated will be spent by the 1st October next.

I propose with your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, to take Questions Nos. 108 and 109 together, and, to circulate with the Official Report a statement of the capital allocation for local authority housing made to Kerry County Council for the years 1966-67 to 1970-71 inclusive.

The council were notified on 8th July, 1971, of an initial allocation for 1971-72 of £350,000 for local authority housing in respect of existing commitments, and were informed that this allocation would be subject to review and that additional allocations would be made, within available resources, as new works were approved during the course of the year.
