Vol. 256 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Mayo Port Landing Facilities.

106.

Mr. J. Lenehan

asked the Minister for Finance if, having regard to the fact that plans and estimates of cost for the provision of landing facilities for fishermen at Ballyglass on Broadhaven Bay, County Mayo, have been available in the Office of Public Works for the past four years, he will make a statement on the present position regarding the proposals.

In regard to the first part of the question, the Commissioners of Public Works formulated proposals with an estimate of cost for landing facilities at Ballyglass in August, 1969. In regard to the second part, I would refer the Deputy to the reply which will be given next week by the Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries on the same subject.

Will he be here next week?

He will.
