I assume that the Deputy is referring to equivalence in eligibility and not to the quality of the services. I have no reason to believe that, in the latter respect generally, our services are inferior to those in Northern Ireland.
If eligibility for all the services here were to be extended to the entire population, the additional expenditure from public funds would probably be of the order of £30 million a year.
