Vol. 257 No. 10

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Laois Estate.

12.

asked the Minister for Lands if he has received representations in regard to the Little Estate at Everton and Crossleigh, Carlow, County Laois; if the Land Commission will have these lands acquired for the relief of local congestion which exists in the area, in view of the fact that for several years the Land Commission have had notice directed to them in regard to part of this estate; and if action will now be taken to have the lands divided amongst the local deserving applicants.

The determination of lands to be acquired is a matter reserved exclusively to the Commissioners but I shall arrange to have the Deputy's representations brought to their attention.
