The lines of the new arrangements, which, as I said when introducing the Estimate for Agriculture on 30th November, it is proposed to make with creameries to ensure that quality standards for milk are maintained, are in process of being formulated by my Department and will be conveyed to the creameries as quickly as possible.
Will the bonus be any improvement on the existing one or will it be the same amount?
I would expect that the new arrangements for the procurement of high quality production would be a matter for the creameries themselves, but the regulations that will be laid down will be a matter for the Department of Agriculture and Fisheries.
