Vol. 258 No. 12

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Mayo Holdings.

37.

asked the Minister for Lands when the Murphy, Glynn and Moran holdings at Gurtuphill, Ballyglass. Claremorris, County Mayo, will be divided in view of the fact that the Land Commission have had possession of them for the past eight years.

A comprehensive scheme for division of the Murphy, Glynn and Moran estates and another property in the locality, totalling 93 acres in all, has been prepared and it is hoped to effect allocation this spring.

Possession of the four estates passed to the Land Commission on various dates, the latest being the Moran Estate—in May, 1969.
