Vol. 259 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Kerry Estate.

11.

asked the Minister for Lands the date the Land Commission took over the O'Connor estate, Beenanspuig, Knockanure, County Kerry; and when it is proposed to divide the estate.

The Land Commission endeavoured to purchase this 47 acre holding on a voluntary basis some years ago but, in the event, the price negotiations proved unsuccessful.

It is understood that the lands were subsequently sold to a local man.
