Vol. 259 No. 9

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Licence-Free Fishing.

12.

asked the Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries if he will arrange with the Inland-Fisheries Trust to have free fishing for anglers who are old age pensioners; and if he will request the trust to consider sympathetically licence-free fishing for these anglers.

The Inland Fisheries Trust Inc., already grant seasonal permits at a reduced fee of 25p for old age pensioners. I do not propose to request them to operate permit-free fishing.
