Vol. 259 No. 15

Written Answers. - Tralee Improvement Works.

87.

asked the Minister for Local Government if his Department received a proposal from the Kerry County Council for a special grant to carry out improvement works to the town arch, Tralee; if so, if the proposal has been examined; and when work is likely to commence on the scheme.

This scheme which involves remedial road and drainage works estimated to cost £200,000 was approved in principle on 3rd September, 1971. Further planning by the local authority is in progress. The question of the method of financing the scheme is under examination.
