Vol. 260 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Dublin Fruit Market.

43.

asked the Minister for Local Government if there is any system of inspection and enforcement to ensure that adequate standards of hygiene and sanitation are maintained in the Dublin fruit market.

In addition to the control operated by the market superintendent under the relevant bye-laws, I understand that the Dublin Corporation Fruit Market is inspected regularly as regards hygiene and sanitation by the health inspectorate of the Eastern Health Board.
