Vol. 260 No. 7

Ceisteanna — Questions. Oral Answers. - Wexford Estate.

13.

asked the Minister for Lands when the Land Commission propose to divide the Rossiter estate, Ardcaván, Wexford.

Plans for allotment of this 72-acre estate have been formulated and they are under active consideration just now.

Can the Minister state when this farm was acquired by the Land Commission?

Possession was taken on 24th May, 1968.

Can the Minister state why it has taken four years to have the land divided?

That is a separate question. I am afraid I have not that information but there could be a number of reasons why the matter was held up.
