Vol. 260 No. 7

Ceisteanna — Questions. Oral Answers. - Dublin Infants' School.

14.

asked the Minister for Education if he will indicate why it is not considered necessary to provide a remedial teacher at Saint Brigid's infant school, Finglas, Dublin.

St. Brigid's infant girls' school is one of a complex of four schools in Finglas, in which four extra teachers are sanctioned for the purpose of remedial teaching and special classes. One of these teachers is in charge of the special class in St. Brigid's infant girls' school.

The employment of an additional person for remedial teaching on the staff of the school would not be warranted in the circumstances.
