Vol. 260 No. 9

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Border Policing.

1.

asked the Taoiseach whether he has received any request from the British Government with regard to the question of joint policing of the Border; and, if so, if he will state the Government's attitude towards any such request.

No. The second part of the question does not therefore arise.

Was this discussed between the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Deputy Hillery, and his counterpart in London?

I do not propose to tell the Deputy what was discussed.
