asked the Minister for Defence the number of naval officers with watch officers' qualifications who are engaged whole-time or part-time in working on the coastal-marine rescue service station at Haulbowline, Cork.

Four officers of the Naval Service, who hold certificates of competency or naval watchkeeping certificates, are at present operating the marine rescue co-ordination centre at Haulbowline on a part-time basis.
