Vol. 263 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Non-Contributory Old Age pension.

121.

asked the Minister for Social Welfare if he is aware that a person in County Galway (name supplied) is receiving £1.15 per week non-contributory old age pension; and if he will investigate her claim for a full pension.

The claim is being investigated. The old age pensioner concerned applied for an increase in pension on 15th September, 1972, on the grounds that she had transferred a holding to her son. On completion of the necessary inquiries the case will be submitted to the local pension committee for decision.
