Vol. 263 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Wool Prices.

161.

andMr. G. Timmins asked the Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries if he will consider fixing a price for wool that must be paid to the producer for the 1973 clip so as to avoid the fluctuation that took place this year.

It would not be practicable to fix a price for wool in this country as up to 80 per cent of our wool clip is exported and must follow current world prices.
