Vol. 263 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - UCD School of Architecture.

101.

asked the Minister for Education if any changes have recently taken place in the control and management of the UCD School of Architecture which would have the effect of giving control to an outside body.

I am assured by the authorities of University College, Dublin, that no changes have been made in the control and management of the College's School of Architecture which would have the effect of giving control of the school to an outside body.

Is it possible for the Minister to assure us at this stage that the national and international reputation of the School of Architecture at Bolton Street will not suffer as a result of any changes?

That is a matter which is being considered in relation to the Report of the Higher Education Authority.
