Vol. 265 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Easter Military Parade.

55.

asked the Minister for Defence if, in view of the improvement in the equipment of the Army, he will arrange to have a military parade in Dublin next Easter.

The fact that the traditional military parade was not held in Dublin on Easter Sunday this year or in 1972 was due to the heavy demands on the Defence Forces, mainly because of security duties. The holding of such a parade next year will, of course, depend on circumstances at that time.
