Vol. 265 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Articulated Vehicle Regulations.

63.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will make it obligatory for all owners of articulated trucks or lorries which are over 25 feet in length to display at the rear of the vehicle the total length of the vehicle.

It is already obligatory that combinations of vehicles shall be marked at the rear with the words "over 54 feet" where they exceed that length. I do not propose to make further provision in relation to the marking on vehicles of their length.
