asked the Minister for Local Government if he has figures to indicate the number of planning permissions granted on appeal in February-March, 1973; and whether these figures show an increase over the corresponding period for 1972.

I have had an analysis made of the figures for the two periods in question and with the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, I propose to circulate the result of such analysis in the form of a tabular statement in the Official Report.

Following is the statement:
