asked the Minister for Labour if he will consider the introduction of a programme of preparation for retirement in order to facilitate the transition from working to retired life to ensure that the persons concerned will be fully informed on questions of income, housing, medical and social services as well as recreational facilities; and if the Government's representative on the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe will support the recommendation made by the Assembly in its Recommendation 695 that the Committee of Ministers work out proposals to this effect.
