Vol. 265 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - National Wages Agreement.

9.

asked the Minister for Labour if he has any proposals to attempt to secure a reduction in the amounts of pay increases agreed in the national wages agreement.

I have no such proposals.

This matter arises out of some statements made by the Minister for Finance in relation to inflation. I was wondering if we are to take his word for it, the same as on the restrictive practices legislation.

Whose word?

The word of the Minister for Finance.

The Deputy had better ask the Minister for Finance.
