Vol. 265 No. 9

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Police Questioning Arrangements.

28.

asked the Minister for Justice the facilities being made available by the Whitelaw administration to members of the Garda Síochána who wish to question persons in custody in Northern Ireland.

Any such facilities which might be available to the Garda Síochána would come under the head of confidential police arrangements and, accordingly, I cannot undertake either to comment on the assumptions in the question or to make any other statement about it.
