Vol. 266 No. 10

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Auctioneers' Licences.

99.

asked the Minister for Finance the number of auctioneers' licences issued by the Revenue Commissioners in each of the last five years.

Mr. Kenny

The answer is in the form of a tabular statement which with your permission, a Leas-Cheann Comhairle, I propose to circulate with the Official Report.

Following is the statement:

Number of Auctioneer's licences.

Year ended 31st March

Number of Auctioneers' licences

1969

1,117

1970

1,220

1971

1,454

1972

1,579

1973

1,648

Would the Parliamentary Secretary state the total number of licences issued in the past five years?

Mr. Kenny

I am having the information circulated.

The answer is in front of the Parliamentary Secretary. What is the total number?

Mr. Kenny

I would want to be a mathematician to give that number. The Deputy can wait until tomorrow and it is up to him to total the figures.

I would prefer the Parliamentary Secretary to do it.
