The National Building Agency have been informed that I have no objection in principle to their proposal to provide an industrial housing scheme in Ballina. Formal sanction by me is not required to their housing schemes for industrial workers. I understand that the agency is in touch with the Industrial Development Authority about the number of houses which should be provided in the scheme.
