This site was planned originally for 48 houses, 36 of which have been built so far. The building of the balance of the houses on the higher part of the site was deferred because of an adverse report on site conditions. Last week I received a copy of a resolution from the urban district council seeking sanction immediately to the building of the balance of 12 houses and I understand that a documented proposal is being submitted in this connection on behalf of the council. I will have the matter examined without delay by my Department's technical advisers.
