Vol. 267 No. 12

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Laois Estates.

11.

asked the Minister for Lands the estates in County Laois at present held by the Land Commission that will be reallocated during the coming year.

At present the Land Commission have in their possession in County Laois some 3,500 acres of which about 2,900 are classified as arable.

It would not be feasible to indicate at this stage which estates will be divided in the coming year but every effort is being made to dispose of the lands on hands as quickly as possible.

If the Deputy is interested in any particular estate, however, I can arrange to let him know the position in regard to its allotment.
