(b) The general level of admission fees charged to the public was 10p for entry to the outside enclosure; £1 (50p for ladies) for entry to the grand stand enclosure and £1.50 (£1 for ladies) for entry to the reserved enclosure. (c) The total number of persons who attended race meetings in 1972 was 901,600.
