Tenders for the erection of a visitor centre at Dunmore Caves are being examined and it is hoped to accept a tender shortly. The provision of interior lighting of the caves will also be undertaken in the coming months. Various scientific investigations are in the meantime being conducted within the caves.
The caves must remain closed to visitors until these various works have been completed.
