(Dublin Central) asked the Minister for Finance if he will ensure that the property known as the Brazen Head, Bridge Street, Dublin, which is at present for sale, will be preserved in the national interest.

With your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, I propose to reply to Questions Nos. 289 and 290 together. The Brazen Head Inn, 19a/20 Lr. Bridge Street, Dublin, is listed for preservation in the Dublin development plan. It is assumed that the responsible local authority, in this case the Dublin Corporation, will ensure that the building is preserved.
