I am informed by the ESB that the townlands in question are in the board's Donoughmore rural area which is due for development, under the final phase of the rural electrification programme, within the next two months. Supply will be extended to all those who have accepted the subsidised terms which were quoted recently to all applicants in the area.

I am informed by the ESB that they have received a small number of complaints from residents in Achill regarding the power supply in the area. These complaints have been investigated and arrangements have been made to carry out the necessary supply network improvement within the next few months.
