Since the factory at Dowra closed, the Industrial Development Authority have been endeavouring to attract a replacement industry to the vacant premises. I have recently asked the authority to maintain their efforts to secure such an industry. However, as the Deputy will appreciate, the efforts of the authority depend for their success on the readiness of an industrialist to locate a suitable project in Dowra.
