Cavan): The pensions payable to forestry workers under the pension scheme for non-established State employees are being revised in accordance with instructions issued by the Minister for Finance.
With effect from 1st October, 1973, pensions payable to forestry workers, who retired before 1st July, 1973, will be revised by reference to the wages they would have earned had they been serving on 1st July, 1973.
The revised pensions should be paid shortly.
