Vol. 268 No. 14

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Clare Estate.

15.

asked the Minister for Lands the present position regarding the Creaven estate and the McMahon estate, Scariff, County Clare.

Possession of both properties has passed to the Land Commission.

Portions of the Craven holding comprising three and a half acres have already been allotted as sites for a national school and a house for a forester. Plans for the disposal of the remainder of this holding and for the McMahon lands are at present being formulated and it is hoped to allot them this year.
