The audio-visual aids section of my Department does not engage in the financing of film production or in the production of films and I am unable at this stage to undertake consideration of financing the particular film referred to in the Deputy's question. I may mention that a grant is made annually through my Department to the National Film Institute of Ireland towards the cost of purchasing films which are rented to schools at a nominal charge.
