Comhairle na nOspidéal have been discharging the functions conferred on them by section 41 of the Health Act, 1970, for about a year and a half. No evidence has been put before me which would indicate that the comhairle are not performing their functions in a satisfactory way. I do not, therefore, propose to introduce amending legislation as proposed by the Deputy.
