Vol. 271 No. 5

Written Answers. - County Cork House Grant.

214.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will arrange to have a housing inspector visit a person in County Cork (name supplied) to sanction grants in respect of a new house, as the person in question has notified his Department twice that all defects have been remedied.

This applicant was notified on 6th February, 1974, of defects that had to be remedied before the grant could be paid. He informed the Department on 19th February, 1974, that the necessary work had been done and the inspector was directed to re-examine the house with a view to payment of the balance of the grant if the defects have been rectified.
