The latest consumer price index relates to mid-February, 1974. There were ten items in that index calculation for which the average price showed a decrease when compared with mid-February, 1973.
Can the Parliamentary Secretary give us some idea of the items concerned?
The items are: sirloin steak, potatoes, carrots, cabbage, white plain flour, white self-raising flour, brown wholemeal flour, rent— including rates of rented dwellings— rates of owner-occupied dwellings and medicines and drugs.
