Vol. 272 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Mayo Electricity Supply.

12.

asked the Minister for Transport and Power whether electricity has yet been supplied to a person in County Mayo (details supplied); and, if so, the charge in respect of such installation.

I am informed by the ESB that the original applicant for extension of the electricity supply, who was seeking supply out of turn, did not pursue his application. A new applicant, who is an existing consumer, has now sought extension of the electricity supply at the address in question and supply will be extended within the next few days.

The terms quoted for the extension, which have been accepted, are: normal fixed charge 60 pence plus special service charge every two months £2.26.
