Vol. 272 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Coast Life-Saving Service.

10.

asked the Minister for Transport and Power if he is satisfied that the coast watching services and general life-saving services are fully organised to cope with any major disaster.

I am satisfied that the general life saving services along the coast are adequate and will be improved as soon as the efforts of the Civil Service Commissioners are successful in filling two officer vacancies in the coast life saving service.
